Terrariums are my new plant-based obsession! They are teeny tiny worlds that we create and nurture, filled with lush miniature plant-life, and maybe just a touch of magic. 
Inspired by these tiny magical microcosms, the Magical Terrarium Wrap is a delightful and quick project. 
 
The Magical Terrarium Wrap is an assymetrical chevron shaped wrap, and is worked flat. It features gorgeous lace work and a rhythmic knit/purl texture. 
This is a fun and easy pattern and suitable for beginners with some adventurous elements. 
It includes written and charted sections. 
All charts have accompanying written instructions 
 
Finished Wrap Measurements: 
Finished Wrap measures 40cm / 16” wide x 210 cm / 82” long 
 
Suggested Yarn: 
4ply / fingering weight yarn 
Sample shown using 12 x 20g mini skeins from the original Magical Terrarium Advent. 
 
Yardage: 
Colour 1-12 - 20g/80m of each colour 
 
Needles: 
3.5mm / US4 (circular length 55cm / 22”) 
 
Notions: 
4 stitch markers 
optional progress keeper / right side marker 
plus optional stitch markers for lace repeat sections 
 
Other Tools: 
Darning needle to weave in ends 
Scissors or yarn cutter 
If adding tassels with your yarn leftovers, a tassel making tool is helpful. 
Optional terrarium - for emergency plant needs
