Newy Yarn Crafters is a local area knitting group for crafters in the Newcastle and Hunter Region of NSW. If you're local and would love to join us for knit night, please join the group.

Social action is a big part of my business and I'm always keen to give back to the community and support causes I believe in.​
Knit For The Girls
I'm so proud to be an ongoing sponsor of Knit For the Girls, a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation within our yarn community, headed by Karina Moore (Louie and Lola Yarns).
Running my own fundriaser within the KFTG week, I've raised collectively over $2000 to contribute to the overall funds raised.
Hill to Harbour
In 2025 I ran the Hill to Harbour 12km fun run in Newcastle to rasie funds for Got Your Back Sista.
They are a local organisation that supports women and children experiencing domestic violence and I feel honoured to be able to work with grass roots organisations like this in my community.
This year I raised over $800 for Got Your Back Sista and I'm looking forward to the event in 2026.
